A J-BAR PRAYER

Father, we come before you now on bended knee, hoping to honor you with our integrity. Please make our judgement as sound as steel and be our hands upon the wheel. Give us strength and vigilance on our routes and help us to serve others, as You did, Lord, without any doubts. Remind us to be gentle, humble and kind, and help us when we stumble in body and mind. Please shelter our families whilst we are away and bring us safely back to them at the end of this day.

Walking in Grace

2 Cor 9:8 – “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

God’s grace is a marvelous thing. It is a key component in the salvation of mankind. Eph. 2:8-9 says “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

If not for the grace of God we would have no hope and no Heaven to look forward to. Grace is a never-ending flow of mercy, forgiveness, love, acceptance, encouragement, strength, hope, guidance, correction and courage.

Our grace, human grace, tends to be reserved for those we feel are worthy and is pulled back the moment they don’t meet that criteria. God’s grace is extended to all abundantly.

With God’s grace, we have all that we need for every circumstance of life. When we fail to recognize that grace, we begin to act out of fear. Fear of loss, fear of judgment, fear of failure. We find ourselves anxious and discouraged.

But, when we choose to recognize the grace being shed into our lives and begin to operate from that grace, we have all we need to face the situations of life with joy, peace, and love no matter what they may be.

Walk in grace.

Then, extend that grace to others.
